FIND PURPOSE SERVING OTHERS
GOD CALLS US TO AN ACTIVE FAITH
God calls us to an active faith which includes serving others. When we shift our focus off of ourselves onto others we begin to experience the life of purpose we were created for. And when we’re working side-by-side serving with other people, we find a sense of community.
Whether you want to serve inside New Harvest, in our community, or the surrounding area, we have exciting ways for you to get involved.
FEATURED OPPORTUNITIES
HOMELESS
LOCAL OUTREACH
Our first Seeds of Hope project in 2023 empowers the homeless located in Jackson County through a livelihood project. Proceeds from the sale of the Touched by Love magnets serve a dual purpose. Homeless shelter clients earn money for their labor, and New Harvest’s Seeds of Hope raises funds to assist with our ongoing ministry of serving the needy.
Now through Sunday, February 12th, we will make magnets available for a suggested donation of $5 each.
NEIGHBORS
HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS
The Chelsa arm of Faith In Action routinely provides food and supplies to 100 or more households each month. One of their primary needs is for donors like us to deliver supplies to keep their pantry stocked.
The following items are needed most each week:
• Laundry Soap
• Toilet Paper
• Cleaning Supplies
• Coffee
• Spaghetti Sauce
These items may be dropped off in the lobby on Sunday mornings.
